Bio
Antayzha serves as the Director of the LGBTQ+ Center at Wake Forest University. She earned her B.A. in History with a minor in Education from Wake Forest, where she began her journey in the Center as a student assistant and became a dedicated campus advocate for fostering a strong sense of belonging and advancing cultural competency.
Before being appointed Director, Antayzha served in both Acting and Interim capacities, building on years of experience in student development, programming, and campus engagement. In her current role, she leads the Center’s strategic initiatives, supervises staff and programming, and facilitates workshops and identity-based spaces that support the holistic development of all students. Her work emphasizes community-building, cultural learning, and intersectional support across campus.
Originally from Lenoir, North Carolina, Antayzha is passionate about creating environments where all students feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Training and Development at North Carolina State University.
