Goals of the Group:
The Parent and Caregiver Affinity Group supports parents and caregivers at Wake Forest by building community for faculty and staff members who identify as caregivers. The affinity group supports members through a monthly coffee hour/debrief space, quarterly gatherings, and a google group that shares institutional and local resources for parenting and caregiving.

Group Chairs

Michelle Ford, Office of Wellbeing, Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Michelle Ford is the Program Coordinator and a Wellbeing Coach in the Office of Wellbeing.  She manages the day to day operation of the wellbeing coaching and nutrition counseling services.  Michelle graduated from Wake Forest in 2010 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science and returned to Wake Forest in 2017 on staff.  She enjoys connecting people with the services they need to enhance their overall wellbeing and is excited to be a part of supporting parents & caregivers in the Wake Forest community.


Emily Gregg is an accomplished graphic designer and creative communicator with two decades
of experience in higher education, non-profit, government and healthcare. She has been with
Wake Forest University since 2019 as a Digital Strategy Manager for Information Systems. In
this role she manages their social media platforms, newsletters, communication strategy, and
assists with website management.


She graduated from Meredith College – an all-female college in Raleigh, North Carolina – with a
Bachelors in Graphic Design. While there, she maintained a presence on the Dean’s List, served
as the Student Chapter President of the American Institute for Graphic Arts (AIGA), and
participated on the design team for the college literary journal, Colton Review.


She’s the caregiver of 2 children, and in her free time she serves on the marketing committee
for Piedmont Environmental Alliance and volunteers with the FC Board of Elections.
