Open to all undergraduate women.Join the Women’s Center for monthly, peer-facilitated conversations over dinner. While sharing a meal, we hope you’ll enjoy conversation, form connections, and explore your experience as a woman at Wake and beyond. We invite all woman-identified students to this intimate environment to share your stories and hear the stories of other women. Nothing is required of you- just yourself. Each month, Dinner and Dialogue will have a different theme to prompt new explorations and deeper understandings of your own experience and the experience of others. Open to all members of the Wake Forest community.A monthly exploration of contemporary feminist issues for students, faculty, and staff. Each month, we’ll select a conversation prompt to explore- these prompts could be an item from pop culture, an article that’s going viral, or even something from right here at Wake. Gather together to think critically, engage deeply, and build feminist community. Click here for dates and prompts.
The Women’s Center and the Safe Office have created a six-session workshop series to talk about exactly this. The hour-long workshops will get people talking, thinking, and challenging themselves and their world. Each workshop is followed by an optional discussion space for participants to process and go deeper with workshop facilitators. Each workshop can stand alone but will be most effective as part of a series- a sort of sustained conversation.
